A beautiful little cafe overlooking the river. Staff are friendly and smiley as soon as you walk through the door, the coffees taste great. I ordered a vanilla iced latte with oat milk and it was perfect. The food is plentiful, lots of choice. I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying though.
A gem in the Belper river gardens and the Belper river gardens are a gem in Derbyshire. Good choice of food and drinks. Generous portion sizes from their children’s menu. Often come here after Tara’s Baby/Toddler Club at the mill or community centre. Children’s playground sited just behind the cafe so perfect for kids and grownups.
Just been to the cafe, and had my first caramel, ice latte. It was amazing. The service was fantastic too. I see others complaining about the pricing, but look at the view!! In my option I think the pricing is spot on and simular to anywhere elts. You can tell its been taken over by a new manager too because the atmosphere has changed. Plus its a dog friendly place!! Onwards and upwards for the Swiss tea rooms. An access to Belper.
I often come to this cafe on my lunch break, never disappointed. Emily is my favourite barista, she’s always making me smile and knows my orders by heart now which is so lovely . Would recommend to family and friends.
Lovely food, friendly staff and great service. Had a nice coffee and a delicious sausage roll that was huge. Lovely setting in the park. Dog friendly as well. Highly recommend.
How amazing is this place!! We are blessed to have had this cafe restored after so long. I wish people would appriacte it more instead of complaining about prices and support it instead. Personally, I love everything about it. The staff, food, views, the wild life! What is there to moan about? Thanks to the manager for making it what it is.
Fantastic place with even better people! Visited this lovely cafe recently, and while I wish I could say it was a quiet, relaxing experience... my dog had other plans! He managed to tip over all the drinks, causing quite a scene. But the staff couldn't have handled it better — they were so professional, understanding, and even offered us new drinks on the house. Huge thanks to the team for their patience and the right attitude. Really appreciate how welcoming you are to both people and pets. Sorry again for the little bit of chaos we caused — we'll definitely be back (hopefully calmer next time!). Highly recommend this place — great coffee, great atmosphere, and truly great people.
Staff very polite and friendly. A few good vegan options. I had an iced latte which was really nice and the vegan sausage roll with some chips all very tasty. Lovely surroundings next to the river. The cafe is very clean.
